This is the finished print of my first-ever commissioned product (Yes, I got a little too eager and tried to start color-matching it while printing). A family friend saw some of the 3D-printed items I have made and reached out to me to make the Hulk for them. Putting this model into a slicing software was not easy due to the size and detail of the model. I went through and picked the different locations with more than a 60-degree overhang and evaluated if my printer could bridge that section or if it would need supports.
As I was not making this for myself, I erred on the side of caution because I needed everything to be perfect for my customer. I sanded four times, starting with 80-grit sandpaper to create a nice rough surface and applying sandable fill primer paint. Then I used 120-grit, 220-grit, and finished with a Scotch-Brite pad. From there I used Acrylic paint and hand-painted the entire model. As a huge Marvel and Hulk fan this was a very fun and rewarding project for me.
